Brian Johnson:
Brian Johnson was born and raised in Weaverville, CA. Weaverville is a small town in Northern California. His family practiced worship in every area of their lives.
His father, Bill Johnson, became pastor of Bethel Church in Redding, CA, and they subsequently moved. Soon after, he met and married his wife, Jenn.
Brian became the senior leader of Bethel Church in 2000. He wrote and recorded several albums, and was the executive produce with “Here is Love”, released 2010.Brian also serves on the record label that has released all of his albums, Bethel Music. He and Jenn have three children: Haley Bren (8), Téa Kate (5), and Braden Tyler (3). He and his wife have also begun traveling extensively, leading worship for conferences, and speaking at many venues.
Jenn Johnson:
Jenn grew up in Humboldt, California. She has always loved music, and began singing and taking piano lessons at age 5.
She first encountered the Lord when she was only 10 years old! When she was playing basketball one night, she looked at the streetlight, and said to the Lord, “If You’re real, make that street light blink three times.” Remarkably, as if on cue, the streetlight blinked three times. Astonished, she ran inside and told her mom what had happened.
As years went by, she would worship with her peers, and gain experience with children's, middle school, and high school worship teams. Through her experiences, she became more adept at "feeling out" God's presence, and leading others in worship.
“I lead worship because He asked me to. And I love it! Leading people into a depth in Him is amazing,” Jenn says. She has an unquenchable passion for community, and is continually leading people into encounters in any situation.
Jenn loves to be able to worship lead with her husband, and enjoys being able to share her and her husband's passion with their children.Currently, she and her husband are leading worship at Bethel Church. They travel the world with their music, playing at conferences and speaking in churches. Jenn is also a prolific songwriter, and has written popular songs, including “Taste and See” featured on “We Believe” and God I Look to You”, featured on Bethel’s latest album, “Be Lifted High.”
Jeremy Riddle:
Jeremy is a worship leader and a songwriter. He became internationally known through his first album, Full Attention, and the radio hit song, Sweetly Broken. Sweetly Broken was the number one song on K-Love for over 40 weeks! Since then, Jeremy Riddle has toured extensively. Jeremy released his second project, Now and Not Yet, in 2009. Jeremy comes from a large family, with nine siblings. He was homeschooled through high school, went to Cal State Fullterton, and graduated with a BA in Political Science. He also became a youth pastor in the Anaheim Vineyard. Jeremy now lives in Redding, CA, with his wife and children.
Amanda Falk:
Amanda grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She was blessed to have a small church and home where worship was cherished. As she grew up, she pursued music and worship. In fact, Amanda became so proficient at piano, that she won the Performer's ARCT at the age of 18. When she was performing in a small church, a music producer approached her about producing an album.
Amanda traveled extensively in America and Canada, and was presented with several awards including a Juno in 2006 and a nomination for a second Juno in 2008. In 2010, Amanda recorded her third album "In Between the Now and Then" where she won the Western Canadian Music Award.
Between her albums, she found herself in a season of rest. She found herself singing to the Lord, and responding to His heart for her. She was overwhelmed by the immense love of the Lord during this season.
Following her season of rest, she started out with a discipleship training school in Medicine Hat, Alberta called Pursuit, then moved on to Bethel Church's School of Worship in 2010. She made a lasting connection with Bethel Church and Bethel Music's family. Amanda recorded her a song "I Will Exalt" with Bethel Music's album "Be Lifted High."
Amanda is now a part of the Global House of Prayer, and happily married, living in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She hopes to plant a school full of passionate worshipers for the Lord. She has a heart to empower passionate prophetic writers and worshipers to release prophetic declarations over cities, nations, and people groups in Spirit and Truth. One of Amanda's passions is to see leaders come into their fullness through joy and rest.
William Matthews:
William was born and raised in the heart of Detroit, Michigan where he grew up surrounded with a loving family full of gospel music in their souls. His mother directed the church choir and William was constantly surrounded by soul singers and amazing vocalists. Some of his earliest memories were of his mother telling him that he was singing too much. Although, he never took vocal lessons, William found inspiration for singing from artists such Brian McKnight, Boys II Men, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, among many others.
When Will was twelve, his parents accepted a ministry opportunity and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to pastor a church. During those years, William started writing his heart out.
When he was eighteen, William was baptized in the Holy Spirit. “I knew that I had a heart for the Lord and wanted to pursue him, but felt hindered by a lot of issues in my own life.” Will said, “When that encounter happened, my love for God grew exponentially and I started seeing supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit on a regular basis.”
In January of 2007, he moved to be a part of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri. He began to encounter the Lord in surprising ways and it was a very sweet time for him and the Lord. His skills in song writing and prophetically singing increased during this season. He served underneath the leadership team and worship leaders such as Justin Rizzo, Misty Edwards, Cory Asbury, Julie Meyer, Matt Gilman, and other inspiring artists.
In 2009, William moved to Redding, California, to join Bethel Church where he currently lives now. He is worship leading at Bethel Church and says that it is his dream come true. “I am very passionate about what I get to do week after week at Bethel Church. We have an amazing team of musicians, worshipers, intercessors, and leaders who pour it out week after week,” says William, “God is also sending us many musicians and singers who are coming here to Redding to be trained and equipped in worship and the supernatural. And not only do we get to minister locally to our church here in Redding, but we get to impact nations with the good news of the kingdom.”
