Beyond Community

When reading the book of Acts, we get a glimpse of what we know is possible as followers of Jesus: doing great exploits, seeing Heaven come to earth, and walking in deep and fulfilling levels of relationship and community. The level of community and connection that the disciples lived in set them apart as a group of people the surrounding culture “held in high regard.” Here are some thoughts on what community looks like and some insight on cultivating the fruit of connection and intimacy in our lives.

Lance Jacobs is currently the Lead Pastor for Bethel Church’s satellite campus, Twin View. He is also a Pastor in the School of Supernatural Ministry. Lance and his wife, Rachel, have been part of Bethel Church leadership for over 13 years, and were initially Bethel’s Outreach Pastors. The Jacobs helped pioneer Outreach in the city of Redding during the early days of renewal and outpouring. Lance and Rachel have two daughters, Ella and Kate.
